Attica – Mildred Grace Riley Anno, 81, of 3078 Mount Court, Lafayette died at 7:10 a.m. Thursday Dec 14 in St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center. Mrs. Anna had been a patient at Murdock Manor since February. She was born March 12, 1914 in Attica. Her marriage was to Richard Anno Sept 23, 1931 in Attica. He died July 13, 1954. Mrs. Anno attended Attica HS and worked as a clerk and reception in McCutcheon Hall at Purdue for 17 years, retiring in 1981. She attended the Attica Christian Church and was a former member of Rebekah Lodge and the Moose Lodge Auxiliary in Attica. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. James (Marilyn) Nile of Lafayette; a son, Keith Anno of Lafayette; a stepdaughter, Phyllis Rice of Griffithville, Ariz and three sisters, Fannie Haley of Attica; Mrs. Gene (Juanita) Ransom of Attica and Mrs. Raymond (Betty) Alter of Kokomo.

Anno, Mildred G – Friends may call from noon until service time at 2 p.m. Saturday in Maus Funeral Home, Attica the Rev. Matt Hodges officiating. Cremation will follow with internment at a later date. Surviving are five granddaughters, 11 great grandchildren; a number of step grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Frances Lewis, a granddaughter. Memorials to American Diabetes Foundation or American Heart Association. - kbz
